Welcome to Force Concepts Training and Consulting (FCTC). My name is Dennis Root, and I am the Founder and National Director of FCTC. I am proud to present this training resource, which I strive to make second to none. God has blessed me with tremendous success, and I want the same for you.

Programs, articles, podcasts, and videos are being developed to help everyone with force-related information. From beginner level self-defense topics to complex investigative considerations, we will share information that will elevate your skills and abilities.

I promise to be straightforward and not hold anything back. I want to share what I’ve learned over three and a half decades as a professional investigator, business owner, trainer, and nationally recognized expert in the use of force.

I combine my decades of law enforcement experience with the insights I gained while building my professional investigations agency. We will discuss both the positives and the negatives. I will hold nothing back so you can learn from my successes and the challenges I faced.

My programs and materials will also showcase the experiences of other individuals and subject matter experts. Together, we will share information designed to enhance your understanding of force and strengthen your personal safety and investigative skills.

I know firsthand the challenges you face. Many people say that a wise man learns from his mistakes. While this is certainly true, we should also aim to learn from the mistakes of others.
